New Delhi: Sending shockwaves throughout the entertainment industry, television actor Nitin Chauhaan breathed his last on Thursday (November 7, 2024) in Mumbai. He was 35 years old at the time of his tragic demise.
The news of his sudden passing was confirmed by his colleague Ssudeep Sahir on Instagram. “Rest in peace, buddy,” he wrote on the popular photo-sharing platform. Actress Vibhuti Thakur was in a state of shock and sadness after learning about Nitin’s death. “Rest in peace, my dear,” she posted on social media.
Vibhuti added, “Wish you had the strength to face all the troubles. Wish you were mentally strong like your body.” As per tv9marathi.com, her Instagram story has led to speculations that Nitin died by suicide. However, there is no official confirmation about the same yet.
According to an indiatoday.in report, Nitin’s father has rushed to the city to claim his son’s body. Additionally, no further details about Nitin’s demise have been made available.

For the unversed, Nitin emerged victorious on Dadagriti 2. After winning the second season of the reality show, he rose to fame and successfully entered the entertainment industry. Nitin later went on to showcase his acting prowess and talent on many other television shows. You will be surprised to know that he also appeared on Splitsvilla Season 5.

Hailing from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, Nitin also made brief appearances on Zindagi Dot Com, Crime Patrol and Friends. His last TV outing was Tera Yaar Hoon Main in 2022. In the comedy drama series, he portrayed the character of Jimmy, Daljeet’s childhood friend.
