  • ‘Development’ is the only issue in this election
  • BJP’s one-sided victory in Assam election is certain
  • In the states of West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, the BJP is giving a tough fight to the established parties

Nitin Gadkari Navabharat Interview: BJP’s star campaigner and Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, who came to campaign for the Assam assembly elections, has expressed great confidence in the BJP’s victory. BJP will get a clear majority in Assam, but from Tamil Nadu to West Bengal, BJP’s performance will be historic, he claimed in an exclusive interview.

The main issue is the work and development of ‘Team Modi’

“‘Development’ is the only issue in this election. People can see the network of roads, ports, railway stations and airports that the PM Modi-led team has woven. Assam’s over 2 lakh crore road projects and the bamboo ethanol industry are changing the lives of the youth,” Gadkari said.

Assembly elections will be held in five states in the country this year. Gadkari has made big predictions regarding the elections of these five states. BJP’s one-sided victory in the Assam elections is certain. He claimed that the BJP-led coalition government will come again in Puducherry elections as well. But in the states of West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, the BJP is giving a strong fight to the established parties and we are sure of victory in both these states in this year’s elections. Nitin Gadkari expressed his belief that a positive atmosphere has been created in favor of the BJP in Kerala as well

Reply to opposition on infiltration and Muslim reservation

Speaking on the issue of infiltration, Gadkari said, “Expulsion of illegal foreign nationals is not about Hindu-Muslim polarization. The opposition is deliberately linking it to religion. India is a country of all legal citizens (Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian) and their rights are equal.”

Explanation on Inflation and Fuel Scarcity

Responding to the opposition’s allegations, Gadkari said there is no dearth of petrol, diesel and LPG in the country. The world has seen that India has kept fuel prices stable even in the face of a world war.

DMEgas: A new solution to the LPG crisis

Gadkari has suggested a technical solution to the growing gas shortage. “DME gas can be extracted from raw coal and blended with LPG up to 8 per cent. This will reduce gas imports,” he said. Soon he will hold a meeting with Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri and NITI Aayog on this issue. He expressed confidence that this experiment would be successful just like ethanol blending in petrol.
