Nitin Nabin becomes the new national working president of BJP
On Monday, Nitin Nabin assumed the responsibility of his post as the working national president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). On reaching Delhi from Patna, he was warmly welcomed by party workers at the airport. During this function, BJP workers raised slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’. Outgoing president JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah were also present at his formal welcome ceremony at the BJP headquarters. On this occasion, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Delhi BJP State President, all MPs and ministers also participated. Tamil Nadu BJP president Nainar Nagendran, reacting to Nabin’s appointment, said he looked forward to success under his chairmanship.

Nitin Nabin had said on the announcement of his name that he expresses his gratitude towards the central leadership, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and other members of the party. He assured that he will take forward the guidance and leadership of the Prime Minister and will fulfill the responsibility given to him by the party with full responsibility.
Important information about Nitin Nabin
Nitin Nabin is a minister in the Bihar government and a five-time MLA. He has been elected MLA from Bankipur assembly constituency of Patna and is considered among the young, dynamic leaders of BJP. He was born on 23 May 1980 in Ranchi, Jharkhand. His father Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha has also been an MLA and was associated with the JP movement. After the death of his father, Nitin entered politics and served as the President and National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. He became MLA for the first time in 2006 and was re-elected consecutively in 2010, 2015 and 2020. He defeated Luv Sinha in the 2020 assembly elections. He also won from Bankipur seat in the 2025 assembly elections. Presently, he is serving as the Minister of Urban Development and Housing in the Government of Bihar. Earlier, he had also been the Minister of Public Works Department (PWD).
