Nitin Nabin New President of BJP: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) We have got a new national president. Shortly after the nomination process ended on Monday, Acting National President Nitin Nabin was elected unopposed as the BJP National President. National Election Officer of BJP Organization Dr. K. Laxman issued a press release on Monday announcing that Nitin Nabin was the only proposed candidate for the party’s national president post.

The nomination process was conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm. During the nomination process which lasted from 2 pm to 4 pm on Monday, 37 nomination papers were submitted on their behalf and all were found valid on scrutiny. Union Home Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda and Nitin Gadkari were present during the proceedings, which showed party unity. The election process began after the selection of 30 state presidents from 36 states was completed, well above the minimum 50 percent requirement.

Will take oath on Tuesday
After the election schedule was announced on January 16 and the electoral roll was released, the final phase of nominations ended today, Monday. After the withdrawal period, Nitin Nabin remained the only candidate, which led to his unopposed election as President. Party officials say Nabeen will be sworn in tomorrow, January 20. The change is being seen as an important step towards strengthening the democratic process within the BJP and Nitin Nabin also has the support of several senior leaders.
Who is Nitin Nabin?
Nitin Nabin was born on 23 May 1980 in Ranchi, Jharkhand. His father Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha was also an MLA and was associated with the JP movement. He was one of the founding members of BJP. Nitin entered politics after his father’s death. He became MLA for the first time in 2006. After that, he continued to win elections from Bankipur. He won consecutively from Bankipur in 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2025. He has also held the posts of President and National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.
