Desk: Bharatiya Janata Party has taken a big decision at the organizational level. Nitin Nabin, minister in Nitish Kumar’s government in Bihar, has been appointed as the national working president. This appointment is being seen as a strategic strengthening of BJP in Bihar as well as national politics. The party leadership has entrusted him with this important responsibility considering his organizational experience, ground hold and administrative ability.

This appointment has come into effect with immediate effect from 14 December 2025. A formal organizational order has been issued by the party in this regard. According to the order issued by BJP’s national general secretary and headquarters in-charge Arun Singh, this appointment has been made by the Parliamentary Board of the Bharatiya Janata Party. It has been clarified in the order that Nitin Nabin, who is currently a minister in the Bihar government, will now handle the important responsibility of the organization at the national level. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Nitin Nabin on being made the working national president of BJP.

Nitin Nabin comes from Kayast community. His father Naveen Kishore Sinha was a big leader of Bihar BJP. Nitin Nabin is currently the Road Construction Minister in the Government of Bihar and is an MLA from Bankipur Assembly seat of Patna. He is MLA from Bankipur for the last four elections. Nabin students have traveled a journey from politics to various positions in the organization. He has been recognized as a disciplined organizer and leader who takes quick decisions. He has played many important responsibilities in Bihar BJP, which includes the role of strengthening the organization at the state level.
