Nitin Naveen: Bihar government minister Nitin Naveen has been made the working national president of BJP. National General Secretary Arun Singh gave information about this decision of BJP Parliamentary Board on Sunday. After JP Nadda, he will now take charge of the party.
The appointment comes into effect immediately
The letter issued by the National General Secretary of BJP states, ‘The Parliamentary Board of the Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed Nitin Nabin, Minister in the Bihar Government, as the National Working President of the BJP. The above appointment will come into effect with immediate effect.
Search for national president completed
After the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, party president JP Nadda was made the Health Minister. Since then the search was on for a new national president. Nadda was made the national president of the party in 2020. His tenure as national president has ended in June 2024. Since then he was on extension.
