Nitish Kumar started a new chapter of his political career by taking oath as Rajya Sabha MP on Friday. CP Radhakrishnan administered the oath to him. As soon as Nitish came forward to greet after taking the oath, many workers started saying that something very wrong has happened…this decision is not right.

He opposed Nitish Kumar’s decision in front of him and said that he will not accept anyone else as the Chief Minister. Activists even suggested that one of Nishant Kumar, Sanjay Jha or Lalan Singh be made the Chief Minister, but an outside option would not be acceptable.

political turmoil intensifies
Before this development, many senior leaders met Nitish Kumar in Delhi. These included Samrat Chaudhary, Ashok Chaudhary and Madan Sahni. While reacting on social media, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi wrote, “Bihar will miss you Nitish ji.” On the other hand, RJD spokesperson Shakti Yadav said that this is a sign of a big change in the politics of Bihar.
Meeting the workers and returning to Patna
After swearing in, Nitish Kumar met party workers. But during this time sloganeering started. During this time Lalan Singh was also present with him. After a brief conversation, the Chief Minister left for Patna, where discussions are intense about his next political steps.
Presence of big leaders increased importance
The presence of veteran leaders like Nirmala Sitharaman, JP Nadda and Arjun Ram Meghwal during the swearing-in ceremony made the program special. JDU working president Sanjay Jha gave him a pen for signature after the oath, to which Nitish Kumar said in a light tone, “It’s done… let’s go…”, although he had to wait for some more time for the photo session.
Unique record of becoming a member in all four houses
With this oath, Nitish Kumar also made a unique record in his name in Indian politics. He has now been a member of Parliament and the four major legislative bodies of the state, Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Bihar Legislative Assembly and Bihar Legislative Council. This achievement includes him in the list of select leaders of the country, who have acquired such diverse experiences.
