Since the resounding victory of Nitish Kumar’s leadership in the assembly elections, discussions about Nishant’s role in the party have been going on. According to JDU sources, there may be an indication of his active role in the party’s national executive meeting to be held in Delhi in March.

However, Nitish Kumar himself has not yet given any clear indication about his son’s political future. He has long been opposed to dynasticism and has specifically targeted the Rashtriya Janata Dal on this issue.
