When the newly appointed doctor in hijab came to collect her appointment letter, Nitish Kumar asked the woman, “What is this?” Nitish Kumar, who was standing on the stage, bent slightly and pulled down the hijab from her face. The photos of the appointment letter ceremony for the AYUSH doctors were posted on Nitish Kumar’s official account. In the post along with these photos, Nitish Kumar wrote, “Today I attended 1,283 AYUSH at ‘Samvad’ in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Attended appointment letter distribution ceremony of doctors (Ayurvedic, Homoeopathic and Unani).”
