Eid Celebrations in Patna: Who will handle this post after Bihar CM Nitish Kumar goes to Rajya Sabha? There is a lot of speculation regarding this. Meanwhile, Nitish’s son Nishant Kumar is now seen participating in public programs in place of his father. On the occasion of Eid, CM Nitish Kumar did not reach Patna’s historic Gandhi Maidan for the first time on Saturday to greet the namazis. In his place, son Nishant Kumar took over this responsibility.

In fact, for the last several years, CM Nitish Kumar used to reach Gandhi Maidan and meet the Namazis and wish people on Eid. But, this time in his absence, his son Nishant Kumar met the Namazis and congratulated them and the people of the state. JDU leader Nishant Kumar told the media, “On this auspicious occasion of Eid, I congratulate you all on my own behalf and on behalf of my father, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. May the blessings of Allah be upon us all.”

Let us tell you that after the victory of NDA in Bihar Assembly elections 2025, Nishant Kumar’s activity in public and political programs has increased. Before this, Nishant rarely spoke to the media and was seen in public programs. Now he has been seen leading JDU in place of his father Nitish. Nishant had recently attended the much talked about Iftar party of JDU. He was seen sitting in place of Nitish Kumar, whereas Nitish’s presence in this Iftar party was only symbolic. He was seen sitting comfortably on a chair at the back.
