No laddus on Makar Sankranti, make sesame-jaggery gajak like this, from aroma to taste, everything is wonderful

In India, the day of Makar Sankranti is celebrated with great pomp. On this day, people make things like khichdi, sesame-jaggery laddu, dahi-chuda in their homes. This time, instead of sesame and jaggery laddus, you can make sesame and jaggery gajak. Gajak of sesame and jaggery can be made in just 30 to 40 minutes. To make sesame-jaggery gajak, you will need three things, half kilo white sesame, 200 grams of jaggery and 2 spoons of ghee.

First step- To make sesame and jaggery laddu, first dry roast white sesame seeds. When a slight aroma of sesame seeds starts appearing, then you can turn off the gas.

Second step- After this, grind the roasted sesame seeds coarsely. Now heat a pan and take out ghee in it.

Third step- Add pieces of jaggery in ghee. Cook the jaggery until it melts well.

Fourth step- Cook the jaggery for about 4 to 5 minutes so that the mixture becomes slightly thick. After this, you have to mix roasted and coarsely ground sesame seeds well in this mixture.

Fifth step- Cook the sesame-jaggery mixture for 2 minutes and then turn off the gas. Now you have to take out this mixture in aluminum foil.

Sixth step- Add 2 spoons of roasted sesame seeds to this mixture and knead it well. Now roll it like a big ball of dough.

Seventh step- Roll out the mixture to about half an inch thick. Now cut this mixture into square shapes.

Til-jaggery gajak is ready for the festival of Makar Sankranti. Now you can serve it and enjoy it. The best thing is that you can store sesame-jaggery gajak in any air tight container for one to two months.
