‘No need to worry about LPG’, PM Modi assures the country amid gas crisis

Amidst the increasing military tension in West Asia and fuel crisis across the world, Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured the country that India’s energy security is completely secure. Addressing the ‘NXT Summit 2026’ in Delhi, the Prime Minister said that the government is taking every step to ensure that the heat of international conflicts does not reach the kitchen of the common man. He stressed that the first objective of the government is to protect citizens from distress despite the ongoing turmoil around the world.

Referring to the current preparations compared to previous governments, the Prime Minister said that before 2014, India’s strategic petroleum reserve capacity was very low, but today India has created huge reserves, which will act as a shield to meet the country’s energy needs in any emergency. He said that the steps taken towards self-reliance in the energy sector have not only ensured security but have also resulted in considerable economic savings for the country.
