‘No stone pelter will be freed, no talks with Pak’: Amit Shah slams NC-Congress

New Delhi: In a stern warning to Pakistan, Union home minister Amit Shah on Sunday pointed out that no bunkers in Jammu and Kashmir were required as the government will respond with a shell if even a single bullet is fired from across the border. “If they fire a bullet, we will respond with a shell,” he said. The minister added that now bunkers are not required because no one can dare to fire bullets.

Amit Shah said no stone pelter or terrorist will be set free in Jammu and Kashmir and no talks with Pakistan will be held until terrorism is wiped out. He was speaking at an election rally in Nowshera in support of J-K BJP president Ravinder Raina, the senior BJP leader.

Hitting out at the NC-Congress alliance, he said that they want to release stone pelters and terrorists (after they form their government). “Farooq Abdullah is talking about revival of terrorism in Jammu hills but I want to tell them that this is Modi government and we will bury terrorism in ‘pataal’,” he said.

‘Will talk with my lions’

“I wish to tell Farooq Abdullah and Rahul Gandhi that there will be no talks with Pakistan until terrorism is finished. I will talk with my lions (youths of Jammu and Kashmir) and not with Pakistan,” he pointed out.

Slamming NC-Congress’ comments on reservation, Shah said that they want to take away the reservations. He pointed out their (NC-Congress) agenda was to deprive certain sections of reservation.

“Rahul Gandhi says in the US that these people have developed now and they don’t need reservations. I want to tell him that the reservation will remain. You will not be allowed to finish reservation for the deserving communities. BJP abrogated Article 370. Farooq Abdullah says that they will restore it. I want to tell everyone that no one can bring Article 370 back again.”
