No wins after 18 games — Wolves create unwanted Premier League record after Liverpool loss

Wolverhampton Wanderers lost its 16th game this Premier League season, going down 1-2 to Liverpool at the Anfield on Saturday.

The side managed by Rob Edwards is bottom of the table with just two points and is yet to win after 18 matches. This is the worst start in the Premier League, going past Sheffield United’s unceremonious record from 2020/21 of remaining winless after 17 games.

It is already the first team to go 10 games or more without a victory in consecutive seasons. Wolves also runs the risk of becoming the side with the lowest points tally in a Premier League season.

Currently, Derby County holds the ignominious record with its 11 points during the 2007/08 season.
