In Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, a young engineer Yuvraj Mehta System lost his life by drowning in standing water. As soon as the news of this death came to light, questions started being raised on the administration. Now the police has taken major action in this matter and arrested builder Abhay Kumar. Police say that this action has been taken after his role in Yuvraj’s death case came to light. He was arrested by the Knowledge Park police station.
An FIR was lodged against Lotus Greens Construction Private Limited and Visiontown Planners in the case of Yuvraj’s death. Abhay Kumar is the owner of MZ Wiztown. SIT investigation has been intensified on this matter. Yuvraj’s family members and local people say that if there were proper security arrangements at the spot, this accident could have been prevented. After this accident, questions have started being raised on the working methods of Noida Authority.

How did the accident happen?
This accident took place on January 16 in Sector-150, Noida. Yuvraj Mehta, a 27-year-old young software engineer, was traveling in his car when his car fell into a water-filled pit near a construction site. This pit was dug to make the basement in a mall but no warning or other security arrangements were made there for safety. Due to this negligence, Yuvraj’s car met with an accident.
According to media reports, Yuvraj was coming home from his office in the evening when he lost control of his car and fell into a pit. That pit was filled with water. Yuvraj had somehow come to the roof of his car and also called his father. The young man kept pleading for help for about 90 minutes but by the time he was taken out, he was dead.
investigation started
A three-member SIT has been formed to investigate this matter. SIT has started its investigation on Tuesday. The team under the leadership of senior officer Bhanu Bhaskar is investigating the matter. The SIT first held a meeting and as soon as the meeting ended the team left for the spot. ADG Bhanu Bhaskar said that during the investigation, the concerned officers have been interrogated and now the statements of the relatives of the deceased will be recorded.
He said that after revealing all the facts, the investigation report will be sent to the government. Action may also be taken against some administrative officers in this matter. The SIT is investigating this aspect as to why Yuvrat was not helped even after asking for help for a long time.
