Engineer’s death case in Noida: Big action by CM Yogi, CEO Lokesh M removed, SIT formed for investigation

Noida. The tragic death of a software engineer due to drowning along with his car in Sector-150 of Greater Noida raised questions on the entire system. Now Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started action in this matter. He has constituted a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) for a high-level investigation of this entire matter. This team will complete its investigation within five days and submit the report to the Chief Minister.

Along with this, Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M has been removed. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the CM took immediate action and removed Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M from the post. Lokesh M’s removal is being considered a big step towards administrative accountability.

3 member SIT will investigate, report sought in 5 days
This three-member SIT formed on the instructions of the Chief Minister will be headed by the Divisional Commissioner of Meerut. Along with him, ADG of Meerut Zone and Chief Engineer of PWD will also be included in this team. CM has said that the SIT will submit its report within the next 5 days.

This is the whole matter
On January 17, software engineer Yuvraj Mehta’s car fell into a 20 feet deep and water-filled pit dug at a construction site in Sector 150 due to fog. Yuvraj could be taken out after a rescue operation that lasted for hours, but by then he had died.
