Flat Ceiling Collapse: A shocking incident has come to light from Gardenia Gateway Society located in Sector-75, Noida. Here a large part of the ceiling of a flat room suddenly broke and fell down. The video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
It is a matter of relief that no one was present in the room at the time of the accident, due to which major loss was averted. In the video, ceiling debris, broken plaster and dust are seen spread on the bed of the room. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of fear among the residents of the society and people are raising questions about the strength of the building.

Video of flat roof falling goes viral
According to viral information on social media, the incident took place in flat number 1814 of Tower C-2 of Gardenia Gateway Society. It is being told that the person living in the flat had gone out of the room to drink water just moments before the incident. Meanwhile, part of the ceiling fell on the bed.
It is being claimed that the family had earlier also complained to the builder about cracks in the walls, breakage of plaster and damage to the balcony, but no action was taken on time. However, these claims have not been independently verified and there has been no official statement from the builder or the concerned authorities on the matter so far.

People raised questions on construction quality
After this incident, the residents of the society are demanding a structural audit of the entire building. People say that when such incidents are happening in premium housing projects with flats priced between Rs 70 lakh and Rs 2 crore, it is natural for serious questions to be raised on the construction quality.
People have given sharp reactions to the video on social media also. Many users called it a case of negligence, while some also raised questions on the quality of other buildings in Noida. Currently, the video of the incident is going viral and people are demanding the concerned agencies to investigate the matter and ensure safety.
