Nomination for Haryana civic elections from today – Read

The nomination process for municipal elections in Haryana will start from today. According to the schedule released by the State Election Commission (SEC), candidates will be able to file their nomination papers from today till April 25. General elections for 7 municipal bodies and by-elections for 528 posts of Panchayati Raj are to be held.

Let us tell you that voting is to be held on May 10 in Sonipat-Panchkula, Ambala Municipal Corporation, Rewari Municipal Council, Uklana, Dharuhera and Sampla Municipal Corporation. The result will come on 13th May. According to the Election Commissioner, voting for 1 ward each, 12 block committee members, 29 sarpanch and 485 panch posts of Panipat and Karnal Zilla Parishad will also be held on May 10, the results will be declared on the same day. April 27 has been fixed as the date for withdrawal of nominations.
