Hindi version of ‘Sarke Chunar Teri’ removed from YouTube, action taken after controversy over Nora-Sanjay Dutt’s song

After protests and criticism, the makers have officially removed its Hindi version from YouTube.

This song was released on March 15 and immediately became popular on social media. It has been filmed on Nora Fatehi as well as Sanjay Dutt. As soon as the song was released, there was huge resentment among the people and they started protesting against it fiercely. Famous singer Armaan Malik criticized this song and wrote that this song appeared on my timeline and I replayed it again to hear what I heard. He further wrote that it is very sad to know that the level of commercial songwriting has fallen so much.

The music of this song has been composed by Arjun Janya. Along with singer Armaan Malik, National Humor Rights Commission member Priyank Kanungo has also expressed displeasure over this song. Kanungo expressed his displeasure on social media and questioned whether any civilized family can sit together and watch this.

Hindi version deleted from YouTube

After huge protest and criticism, now the makers have removed the Hindi version of this song from YouTube. This song was present there till March 16, 2026, but now when searching for it, the message ‘Content is not available’ appears.

There is currently no statement from the film team Sanjay Dutt and Nora Fatehi on this controversy, although Nora has also deleted the video of the song from her Instagram.
