He clarified that it was not his intention to hurt anyone’s sentiments and called it an unintentional mistake. Mangali sincerely apologized to everyone and told that necessary changes have been made in the lyrics of the song. The new version will be released soon, and he assured that such incidents will not happen in the future. She also thanks the music director and the film team.

Nora Fatehi raised her voice

Nora Fatehi shared a video saying that the Hindi lyrics of the song were ‘obscene’ and ‘inappropriate’, and she was not aware of their translation. After this controversy, the makers of the song have removed the Hindi version from YouTube. Nora told that she had shot the song in Kannada three years ago and getting a chance to work with a big actor like Sanjay Dutt in it was a big reason. He accepted the job because he felt it was a remake of an iconic song.

The matter was raised in the Lok Sabha

Samajwadi Party MP Anand Bhadauria raised this issue in the Lok Sabha. Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the song has already been banned. Citing Article 19(2) of the Constitution, he said that freedom of expression is not completely unequal. It is subject to restrictions on issues such as decency, morality, and safety of children and women. The minister said that information spreads rapidly through digital medium and the government is ready to take strict steps to protect the society.
