Effect of double western disturbance! Alert of rain, storm and hailstorm in many states including UP-Delhi

Weather Alert: The weather in North India is going to take a turn once again. According to the Meteorological Department, two western disturbances are going to become active one after the other, due to which warnings of rain, strong storm and hailstorm have been issued in many states. The impact of weather will be maximum visible on 7th and 8th April in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan and surrounding areas. During this period, there is a possibility of strong winds, rain with thunder and hail at many places.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain at isolated places in Kashmir Valley on April 7, while rain and snowfall will continue in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between April 7 and 9. The weather will remain changed in North-West India on 5th and 6th April also. These days, winds can blow at a speed of 50 km per hour along with rain in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with strong winds up to 60 km per hour in Uttar Pradesh on April 5 and Punjab and Rajasthan on April 6.

On April 7 and 8, heavy rain will be seen at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan. The weather will be active in eastern Uttar Pradesh on 8th and 9th April and in western Rajasthan on 7th April.

An alert has also been issued regarding hailstorm.

Hail may fall in Jammu and Kashmir, Western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on April 7. Apart from this, there is a possibility of hailstorm in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on April 7 and 8. Talking about other parts of the country, heavy rains are expected in the northeastern states—Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya—for the next few days. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and strong winds along with thunderstorms in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana and Karnataka of South India. The Meteorological Department has advised people to remain alert, especially farmers and people working in the open. In the coming few days, the weather pattern is going to change completely in many parts of the country.
