According to reports, South Korea's Presidential Security Service said that balloons filled with garbage were dropped on the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex by North Korea on Thursday, although there was no dangerous object in them. It was not immediately known whether North Korean President Yun Suk-yeol was present at the compound when the balloon fell. The trash dropped from the balloon was accompanied by leaflets critical of President Yoon and his wife Kim Kyon Hee. Experts say North Korea probably lacks the advanced technology to target specific locations and drop balloons.
