“Not Iran, America will impose fees on Hormuz”, Trump said

US President Donald Trump has threatened to destroy the whole of Iran if the Strait of Hormuz, the ‘oil artery’, is not opened. But despite this, Tehran is not a place to give up. They gave America 10 points in return for the ceasefire. One of which is to collect taxes from ships traveling to Hormuz. But this time that tone was heard in Trump’s voice. “America, not Iran, will collect taxes from ships traveling to Hormuz,” he said.

When Trump was recently asked about Iran’s position on Hormuz, he said, “What if the United States imposes taxes on Hormuz? We will do it before Iran.” According to experts, if Washington takes this step, America will have to send troops to Hormuz. In that case, the conflict will be more intense. Meanwhile, Trump declared America victorious in this war. “We have won this war. Iran has been defeated because our thinking is much more advanced and versatile,” he said.

Note that around 120 ships pass through Hormuz every day. Some reports claim that Iran has already started collecting hefty taxes from ships sailing in Hormuz. Tehran is believed to be taking this step to increase the cost of the war. Among experts, if the US imposes fees on Hormuz, Washington will earn an average of $240 million per day.
