China has modernized its missile technology significantly in the last few years. Its DF-41 (Dongfeng-41) missile can be fired from a mobile launcher and reaches the target at extremely high speed. Its estimated range is believed to be between 12,000 to 15,000 kilometers, allowing it to engage long-range targets.
4.North Korea
North Korea often remains in international discussion due to its missile tests. Its missiles like Hwasong-17 and Hwasong-18 are counted among the powerful long-range systems. Their estimated range is said to be around 15,000 kilometers, making them capable of reaching remote targets.
5.Britain
Britain is also included among the major missile powers of the world. Its strategy is completely based on sea-based nuclear system. Britain uses the Trident-II D5 missile system for its defense, which can be launched from submarines. Its range is considered to be more than 12,000 kilometers.
6.France
The M51 missile has an important place in France’s nuclear security strategy. It is a submarine-launched ballistic missile and is a core part of France’s sea-based nuclear deterrent system. Its range is considered to be around 8,000 to 10,000 kilometers.
7.India
India has also made notable achievements in ballistic missile technology. Agni-V is one of the country’s most powerful nuclear capable missiles. Its official range is said to be more than 5,000 kilometers. This missile has brought India into the category of countries which have long-range strategic missile capability.
