One of those films was Jawan, which featured Atlee, Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Riddhi Dogra, and Nayanthara. However, did you know that Nayanthara, who starred opposite SRK in the film, was not the first choice of the makers? Yes, you read that right!

Before Nayanthara, the film was offered to another South actress. According to media reports, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was initially offered the role in Jawan. However, Samantha turned it down due to personal reasons. Media reports suggest that at the time, she was planning a family with her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya and wanted to focus on her personal life.

Unfortunately, the couple later parted ways. As for Jawan, the movie turned out to be a huge hit among the audience. SRK also praised Nayanthara for her acting in the film.

As for Nayanthara, the actress is making headlines after sharing an explosive open letter to Dhanush. She stated that Dhanush, who produced Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, has filed a lawsuit against her for Rs 10 crore over the use of behind-the-scenes footage in her upcoming documentary.

“What’s even more shocking is your legal notice after the release of the trailer of the Netflix Documentary. We were startled to read those lines wherein you questioned the usage of some videos (just 3 seconds) which were shot on our personal devices and that too BTS visuals that are already very much publicly present on social media and claimed a sum of Rs.10 crores as damages for the mere 3 seconds. This is an all-time low from you and speaks so much about your character. I wish you were half the person you portray to be on stage in audio launches in front of your innocent fans but clearly you do not practice what you preach, at least not for me and my partner,” Nayanthara said in her statement.
