Not only Iran, America will be checking the nose in Hormuz! Trump’s ‘weird’ announcement
After nearly 40 days of war, Iran-US agreed to a 2-week ceasefire. Meanwhile, the Iran-US peace talks collapsed. This was announced by US Vice President JD Vance early Sunday morning Indian time. US President Donald Trump issued a big threat in this situation. He said that America will control the entry and exit of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump said in a post on his social media ‘Truth Social’ that they want all ships to enter. And let’s get out. But Iran is not allowing that to happen. He claims he has ordered the US Navy to track down every ship in its waters that has entered Iran’s customs. Washington is unwilling to grant safe passage to those who have paid illegal tolls in the deep sea.
Before the start of the peace talks, Trump practically threatened that the US will leave the Strait of Hormuz free, whether there is an agreement or not. Since then, the question was whether the US president is planning a bigger attack on Iran? Now that the peace talks have collapsed, that question is getting stronger. Meanwhile, Trump said that they will control the entry and exit of ships in Hormuz.
Despite the ceasefire, Iran’s losses in the war are huge. It was proposed by Iran that the money collected from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz be used for post-war reconstruction, as the conflict has destroyed the country’s defense, administrative and civilian infrastructure. Iran has started preparations for that purpose. It is known that a barrel will be taken back from a fuel vessel for free passage at a price of one dollar. It is also known that this money will be taken in crypto currency.
