Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Establishment has started tightening the noose on former Additional Project Manager of Government Construction Corporation, Rajveer Singh. Information about huge wealth has been obtained in the raids conducted at five of their locations in Delhi and Noida. This raid took place in the case of disproportionate assets. If similar raids are conducted on the houses of some other officers of the Government Construction Corporation, then their huge wealth will also be found.

If sources are to be believed, there is a stir among many officers of the Government Construction Corporation after the raid in Rajveer Singh's house in connection with the disproportionate assets case. Sources are also saying that currently there are many such officers on whom Vigilance hunter can go. To avoid this action, these officers have now started using their influence.
Raids conducted at five locations including Delhi and Noida
Vigilance team raided five properties of Rajveer Singh on Tuesday. This included Lucknow and Meerut teams, which raided five places including his office and his house in Delhi and Noida. Both the teams, which took action in the disproportionate assets case, found immense wealth at Rajveer Singh's house. Their value is said to be more than Rs 50 crore. Rajveer Singh is Additional Project Manager in the General Manager's Office, Delhi.
About Rs 2.5 crore spent on home decoration
When the Vigilance team conducted the raid, the officers were shocked to see the information about the immense wealth found by Rajveer Singh. Two complexes worth Rs 20 crore were found in Delhi and Rs 6 crore in Noida. Both the complexes were five storeyed and many buildings were semi-finished. Apart from this, a bungalow worth Rs 5 crore was found in Noida, in which jewelery worth Rs 77 lakh and Rs 1 lakh in cash were found inside a locker kept in one of the bedrooms. Apart from this, ACs, luxury sofas and other furnishings worth Rs 2.5 crore were found in this building. The value of sofas is estimated in lakhs. Two hostels worth Rs 4 crore each were found in Noida in the name of Rajveer and his wife. Inside, there are ACs and other items worth around Rs 21 lakh.
The investigation gained momentum after the case was registered
A case was registered against Rajveer Singh on March 11, 2024 by the Vigilance Inspector after investigation. After the case was registered, the investigation into this case gained momentum. On May 31, 2019, an inquiry was ordered against Rajveer Singh, the then Additional Project Manager in the State Construction Corporation of Uttar Pradesh, in a case of disproportionate income.

If sources are to be believed, Rajveer Singh made great use of his position and influence while working in the Government Construction Corporation. Through this he acquired wealth worth crores.
