Hardoi:Chief Development Officer Soumya Gururani inspected RRC Center Sikanderpur Narkatra, Mini Anganwadi Center Sikanderpur Narkatra, Temporary Cow Shelter Sikanderpur Narkatra and Development Block Office Shahabad of Block Shahabad. The village head and secretary were praised for finding the arrangements at the Anganwadi center correct and instructions were given to start the operation of the RRC center immediately and conduct door to door garbage collection.
During the inspection of the cowshed, 181 cows were found to be protected, but due to lack of 100% ear tracking of the animals, a show cause notice was issued to Veterinary Officer, Shahabad, Dr. Raghuveer Singh, along with instructions to keep the sick, old and newborn animals separately. Instructions were given. The block premises, auditorium, MNREGA room, NRLM room and all the boards were inspected and the cupboards were opened and the records were seen. The maintenance of records was found to be proper.
Block Mission Manager, Ram Singh Verma, Chandan Kumar Upadhyay and Upendra Singh expressed their displeasure when the progress of NRLM was found to be poor during the inspection of the block and warned that strict action would be taken against them for not sending 100% demand.
