NEW DELHI New Delhi: Meta-owned WhatsApp on Thursday made it easier to organize messages filled in users' inboxes, helping them keep track of conversations with family members, work colleagues, college friends and others. With Lists, you can now filter your chats with custom categories of your choice. Whether it's a list for family, work, or your local neighborhood, Lists help you focus on the conversations that matter most, when you need them. “You can find them at the top of your Chat tab,” WhatsApp said. You can easily create and edit your lists by tapping + in the filter bar, or by long pressing a list. Notably, WhatsApp already had a way to view unread messages through filters in the search bar. But with the new filter bubble at the top of the chat screen, the option is readily available. These filter bubbles may look familiar to Gmail users as the Google-owned email service introduced a similar feature in 2020 to simplify searches.
