Digital Life Certificate: If you are a retired government employee then it will be mandatory for you to submit life certificate to get pension. If you do not do this, your pension may be stopped. The last date to submit life certificate is 30th November. Employees can submit life certificate from November 1. Pensioners aged 80 years or above will have to submit their life certificate from October 1 to November 30.
What is life certificate?
Life Certificate known as Life Certificate. Biometric technology is used in this. Besides, it also includes the Aadhaar verification process. It contains the Aadhaar number and biometric details of the person. This certificate is valid under the IT Act. By submitting this certificate the pensioner can prove that he is alive. If you do not submit the certificate, your pension for December and beyond may be withheld.
How to submit Jeevan Pramaan Certificate online?
- Pensioners can register their identity like face, fingerprint, iris biometric technology securely with the help of Jeevan Pramaan and Aadhaar Face RD app.
- For this, the phone should have at least 5MP camera sensor with internet connectivity. Your Aadhaar should be updated with pension authorities like banks and post offices.
- After this you have to download AadhFaceRD and Jeevan Pramaan Face App from Google Play Store. You will then need to complete operator authentication. And you have to verify your face.
- After this the pensioner will have to enter the necessary information.
- Then click photo from front camera and submit all the information.
- After this, a link will be sent to your registered mobile number, by clicking on which the life certificate can be downloaded.
- The Aadhaar certificate will require the information of Aadhaar number and VID, which will be given to the digital life certificate.
- Gramin Dak Sevaks and postmen of Indian Post Payment Bank can help you in filling the biometric details with the help of Postinfo app, but for this you will have to pay a charge of Rs 70.
- To avail this facility sitting at home, you will have to call the toll free number and also pay a fee of Rs 75.
- Apart from this, pensioners can get Jeevan Pramaan portal made from their nearest common service centre.
