'Now I will have to sit…', personal talk between Rohit and Agarkar goes viral, they were discussing this rule

India's 15-member team has been announced for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 starting from 19 February. Shubman Gill has been made the vice-captain of this team led by Rohit Sharma. The Champions Trophy team itself will be seen playing a 3-match ODI series against England in the beginning of February, in which Harshit Rana has been included as the backup of Jasprit Bumrah. Harshit will be seen playing in place of Bumrah in the first two matches. Rohit Sharma and Ajit Agarkar held a press conference and also answered the questions. Something happened at the beginning of the press conference, the video of which is going viral on social media.

Let us tell you that after the recent performance of Team India, BCCI has issued a guideline of 10 rules to bring discipline in the team. These include many rules ranging from players playing domestic cricket to spending time with family on tours. According to BCCI guidelines, wives of Team India players can stay with them only for 14 days during the match. After 14 days, cricketers' wives are not allowed to stay with them. Some cricketers have also expressed objection to this guideline.

I have to sit for 2 more hours

Actually, while announcing the squad for the Champions Trophy, Rohit Sharma was talking to Ajit Agar on this matter in the press conference. At that time the mic was on, the video of which is going viral on social media. In this conversation, Rohit was heard saying, 'I will have to sit with the secretary for 2 more hours, now all these things are discussed about the family. Will have to do. Now everyone is calling me, friend. However, before Agarkar could say anything on this, the press conference started. As soon as this video went viral, people started speculating that Rohit was talking about 'family rules' here, which is related to the players' families.

BCCI made 10 points policy

Adopting a strict stance, BCCI has made a 10 points policy for Indian players. This included everything from making it mandatory to play domestic cricket to banning personal staff from staying together on foreign tours. Apart from this, players will not be able to shoot personal advertisements during the series. It will be mandatory to follow this 10 points policy. If this does not happen then BCCI will take action. This policy has been implemented to promote discipline and unity in the national cricket team.
