Patna. Now the Education Department will adopt a strict attitude against the irresponsible and careless teachers working in the government schools of Bihar. Teachers who consistently come to school late will be transferred out of their current block or district. This is clearly mentioned in the Bihar School Special Education (Amendment) Rules 2024. After this manual was approved by the state cabinet, it was published in the gazette.

This rule has been implemented in Bihar, the notification of which has also been issued. It has been said that from the administrative point of view, such teachers will be transferred who are continuously reaching school late. It has also been made clear in the new rules that compliance with the code of conduct will be mandatory for teachers. Strict action will be taken against teachers who do not follow this.

Apart from this, teachers who create trouble and spoil the school environment will also be transferred. The District Education Officer can transfer such a teacher to any other school in the district itself. For this, three days' notice will have to be given to the concerned teacher. If there is a transfer outside the district, then this right will rest with the Director of the Education Department.

In this manual, there is a provision for punishment like suspension, dismissal, compulsory retirement of teachers in various cases. It has also been clarified that compassionate employment will be given to the dependents of special teachers on the basis of education department's policy and fixed qualification.
