This post has come to light at a time when there was a phone conversation between PM Modi and President Trump a few days ago. In the talks, emphasis was laid on increasing trade, critical technologies, energy, defense and security cooperation. Both countries are also in talks to finalize a trade agreement. However, trade relations have been affected after America imposed 50 percent tariff on Indian products.
