- Go to the right website: Every state has its own Civil Registration System (CRS) portal. You have to go to the CRS portal of your state.
- Create account: First of all, you have to create an account on this website. In this, general information like your name, mobile number and email ID will be entered and you will get a user ID and password.
- Login: Now login to the portal with your user ID and password.
- Fill the form: Click on the option ‘Apply for Birth Certificate’. Now carefully fill all the information related to the birth of the child (name, name of parents, date and place of birth).
- Upload Paper: Now upload the papers you had prepared one by one.
- Pay Fees: Pay the fees online as per your convenience (through UPI, Net Banking etc.).

What will happen after application?
