NSS camp of KKPG College Etawah organized at Sarai Acer, environment and health awareness campaign

Etawah, 23 February. Karma Kshetra P.G. The first one-day camp organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the college at Gram Panchayat Sarai Esar was concluded with enthusiasm. The objective of the camp was to spread social awareness in rural areas and encourage the spirit of service among the students.

At the inauguration of the program, Principal of the college, Prof. Mahendra Singh congratulated the volunteers and gave the message of being dedicated to serving the nation. At the camp site, village head Sarwar Singh encouraged the students and assured them of all possible support.

Under the camp, volunteers went door-to-door in rural settlements and established communication and surveyed the area and gathered information about local problems. Program Officer Dr. Ajit Kumar Dixit said that lack of awareness regarding environmental protection, energy conservation, following traffic rules and cleanliness was mainly revealed in the survey. During this, the harms caused by environmental pollution were discussed in detail.

After the survey, volunteers made the villagers aware about filariasis and gave information about its prevention and treatment. Snacks were provided to the volunteers during the mid-day break. After this, sports activities were organized in which the students participated enthusiastically.

Cultural programs were organized in the concluding session, in which NSS volunteers presented patriotic songs. In the end, Program Officer Dr. Ajit Kumar Dixit expressed his gratitude towards all the guests, villagers and participants.

On this occasion Prof. Shivraj Yadav, Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Dr. Namita Pandey, Dr. Neeta Pandey, Brijendra and other teachers and volunteers were present. The successful organization of the camp gave new energy to the spirit of social responsibility and national service among the students.
