Nusrat Bharucha enraged Maulana after Mahakal darshan, issued fatwa
Famous Bollywood actress Nushrat Bharucha recently visited the world famous Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. On the holy occasion of Putrada Ekadashi, he took blessings of Baba Mahakal and participated in the special Bhasma Aarti of the temple. This was her second visit to the court of Mahakal, where she was seen with full devotion. National President of All India Muslim Jamaat and prominent Muslim religious leader Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi said in clear words that visiting any non-Islamic religious place like temple and offering water, worship or devotion is completely illegitimate and haram.
Violation of the teachings of Islam
Maulana Razvi stressed that Islam does not allow going to any temple or place of worship of any other religion to worship. Such actions are serious crimes in the eyes of Shariat. He said that if a Muslim does this, he should immediately repent, apologize wholeheartedly to Allah and correct his mistake by reciting the Kalma.

Do not go against Shariat
Maulana appealed to the Muslim community to fully respect their religious boundaries and follow the rules of Shariat. They say that only worship of Allah is permissible in Islam, and it is strictly forbidden to participate in the worship practices of other religions.
The actress looked engrossed in devotion
During the Bhasma Aarti organized in Brahma Muhurta in the morning, Nusrat Nandi remained immersed in Shiva devotion while sitting in the hall. After the Aarti, the priests of the temple presented her a scarf marked Mahakal as a special prasad, after receiving which she looked very happy and emotional. After the darshan, he openly praised the arrangements of the temple management.

Expressed happiness over temple arrangements
Nusrat said that despite the huge crowd, the darshan process was very well organized and smooth. In particular, he appreciated the pipe system for offering water, in which devotees can offer water directly to the Jyotirlinga without standing in line. The actress said that seeing Baba Mahakal gives her deep peace, positive energy and new strength. He expressed his wish that he could come here every year and have darshan.
This journey reflects Nusrat’s spiritual inclination, where she is seen seeking peace by visiting various religious places. The temple committee also welcomed him heartily and gave him special respect along with the devotees.
