CEO Jensen Huang presented the company’s vision for India at the Nvidia AI Summit in Mumbai, highlighting the nation’s potential to develop into a global center for AI innovation.

India’s Role in Nvidia’s AI Vision
Jensen Huang, in his address at the summit, underscored the importance of India’s IT talent and infrastructure for Nvidia’s future AI ambitions. He described the country’s IT evolution, transitioning from a global back-office powerhouse to a leader in producing and delivering cutting-edge AI solutions.
“Our job is to help India build and deploy AI, and your job is to take… (India’s) incredible IT capability so that we can create agents and help every single company,” Huang said, capturing the collaborative spirit driving Nvidia’s AI partnerships in the country.

Huang was not alone in his optimism. Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director of Nvidia India, noted the rapid integration of physical AI systems by Indian IT firms like TCS, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra, which are setting the stage for India’s global AI leadership.
TCS and Tata Communications Lead the Charge
At the summit, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) made a historic announcement: the establishment of a new Nvidia business unit. With access to Nvidia’s AI technologies and insights from TCS’ worldwide centers of excellence, this specialized team aims to accelerate the adoption of AI across industries. The collaboration intends to accelerate digital transformation in industries including healthcare, banking, and retail by providing industry-specific AI solutions.
Meanwhile, Tata Communications revealed an AI infrastructure partnership with Nvidia to integrate cutting-edge technologies into its AI Cloud offerings. The collaboration will leverage Nvidia’s NIM microservices, Omniverse, and Isaac platforms, enabling faster AI processing and deployment for businesses globally.
These partnerships exemplify how Indian IT leaders are embracing Nvidia’s AI infrastructure to enhance their service offerings, streamlining complex processes, and generating real-time, data-driven insights for businesses.
Reliance’s AI Ambitions: A Partnership with Nvidia
One of the most anticipated moments at the Nvidia AI Summit came when Jensen Huang shared the stage with Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries. Their discussion centered on AI’s transformative power and its potential to reshape industries. Ambani shared his vision for making AI accessible to every Indian, likening the expansion of AI to Reliance’s successful broadband rollout.
Reliance is already embedding AI into its operations. During its AGM in August, Ambani revealed that AI is integral to the company’s processes, offering real-time insights and automation that enhance service delivery for both internal and external users. Through Jio Brain, Reliance’s AI platform, the company is fast-tracking AI adoption within its own operations and is poised to offer this platform to other enterprises.
“I anticipate that by perfecting Jio Brain within Reliance, we will create a powerful AI service platform that we can offer to other enterprises as well,” Ambani said, underlining his ambition to bring AI-driven innovation to businesses across India.
Building the AI Infrastructure for the Future
Establishing a strong AI infrastructure in India is a key component of Nvidia’s plan. In order to achieve this, the business is collaborating with Yotta, a top data center provider, to build a cutting-edge computing environment that will act as the foundation for AI research in the nation. Tens of thousands of Nvidia’s cutting-edge GPUs, built to speed up AI computation, will power this infrastructure.
Beyond alliances with major IT companies, Nvidia has made investments in India. With six sites nationwide, the organization works with cloud providers, startups, and businesses to promote innovation. Nvidia is laying the groundwork for India to emerge as a worldwide leader in AI infrastructure by fusing AI software platforms with high-performance networking.
