New Delhi: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has started the NVS Class 9, 11 admission 2025 Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST) application correction process. The NVS Class 9, 11 lateral entry application form correction link is available on the official website, navodaya.gov.in.
To make changes to the form, candidates will first have to log in with the registration number and date of birth. The form link will be available on the page that appears. Candidates can only change some of the details in the application form.
The application correction window will remain open till tomorrow, November 28. The details that can be changed in the form are the gender of the candidate, category, area of living, disability, district option and stream option.
NVS’s official notice reads,’The online correction window will remain open on 27.11.2024 & 28.11.2024. Corrections in the data of registered candidates for Class 11 LEST 2025 are allowed only in gender (male/female/transgender), category (general/OBC/SC/ST), area (rural/urban), disability, stream option, and district option’.
NVS Class 9, 11 Lateral Entry Selection Test
The NVS Class 9, 11 LEST exam is scheduled to be held on February 8, 2025. The test will be conducted for a two and half hours. There will be a total of 100 questions in the paper from Mathematics, General Science, English and Hindi sections. As per the LEST marking scheme, for every correct answer, candidates will get one mark. There will be no negative marking in the exam. The paper will be in both Hindi and English language.
It is important to note that only after the verification of residence, district, age, pass certificate, eligibility, district of study and category (rural, urban, Other Backward Website, Schedule Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Divyang) for all provisionally selected students, admission will be granted. After the declaration of the LEST result, the verification process will begin.
