Now to win this match, New Zealand will have to take 10 wickets of South Africa before 91 runs, while South Africa will have to score 92 runs to win. Amidst all this, the matter of concern has been the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 finalist team being bundled out for 91 runs after winning the toss at home and batting first.
New Zealand cricket team is known for its excellent game but it has not been able to perform as per expectations for the last few months. The New Zealand team had also become weak against Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup. Whereas India defeated them almost unilaterally in the final and won the trophy.
