NZ vs SA: New Zealand has lost to South Africa by 7 wickets in the 24th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. In this match, New Zealand, batting first, scored 175 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. South Africa achieved the target of 176 runs for victory by losing 3 wickets in 17.1 overs. With this, he has become the number 1 South African batsman to score the fastest T20 half-century against New Zealand. Whereas he has become the third batsman in the world to do so. In this match, Markram played an unbeaten inning of 70 runs with 10 fours and 6 sixes in 50 balls and led the team to victory.

Whereas Daryl Mitchell played an inning of 32 runs in 23 balls with 2 fours and 1 six. Marco Jansen took maximum 4 wickets for South Africa.
