Lucknow, 15 March. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while wishing all the people of the state a happy Sanatan Nav Samvatsar, said on Sunday that Chaitra Navratri is not just a festival of worship, but a great festival of worshiping women power. Addressing the people of the state in a detailed message posted on ‘X’ titled ‘Yogi Ki Paati’, the Chief Minister said, “May Navratri, the holy festival of worship of Adishakti starting from Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, spread devotion, strength and new consciousness in the lives of all of us. With this good wish, heartily best wishes to all of you for Sanatan Nav Samvatsar (Vikram Samvat 2083).”
Referring to the contribution of women power in the development of the state, he said in his message, “In the last nine years, we all have seen Uttar Pradesh continuously improving. Every section of the state has contributed in the glorious journey of success from determination. The contribution of women power in the new construction of the state by recovering from the darkness of the period before the year 2017, from the disturbance to the celebration, is incomparable.” In the same message, the Chief Minister said that Chaitra Navratri is not just a festival of worship, but a great festival of worshiping women power. He said that that society and state becomes strong where daughters are capable. Adityanath said that the Uttar Pradesh government has ensured through various schemes of the state and center that women power is respected, daughters get the sky of their dreams and mother power is respected.
He said that ‘Mission Shakti’ campaign, Rani Lakshmibai Scooty Scheme, Mahila Udyami Credit Card Scheme and half of the state’s 20 thousand start-ups being led by women power are all strong examples of positive change. Emphasizing on the need to take a pledge to advance daughters in every field, Adityanath said, “In order to achieve the goal of a developed state, this golden journey should continue to be dynamic, for this it is necessary that every resident of the state takes a pledge to provide equal opportunities as sons to daughters to progress in every field.”
