On Christmas Day, Russia rained death on Ukraine with 78 missiles and 106 drones, Zelensky started crying bitterly?
Russia Ukraine War: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned the Russian drone attack today i.e. on Christmas Day (December 25, 2024), calling it “inhumane”. Responding to the Russian attack, Zelensky said, “Every major Russian attack requires time to prepare. This is never a sudden decision. Russia launched 78 missiles and 106 drones, of which it shot down 113, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said. Still, Zelensky said, “power was lost in many areas.”
Energy infrastructure was the target
Commenting on this Russian attack, Zelensky further said, “The target is our energy infrastructure. “They continue to fight for blackouts in Ukraine.” Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushenko said on Facebook that the transmission system operator “took the necessary consumption restriction measures to minimize negative consequences for the energy system.” Taking a dig at Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiha said on social media platform X, “This Christmas terror is Putin’s answer to those who talk about a misleading ‘Christmas ceasefire’ Were.”
Every massive Russian strike requires time for preparation. It is never a spontaneous decision. It is a deliberate choice – not only of targets but also of timing and date.
Today, Putin deliberately chose Christmas for an attack. What could be more inhumane? Over 70 missiles,… pic.twitter.com/GMD8rTomoX

5 lakh people remained deprived of this thing
In the days before Christmas Orban had campaigned for a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, which Zelensky rejected during a summit of EU leaders on 19 December. According to media reports, half a million people in the devastated Kharkiv region were left without heating, while there were blackouts in Kiev. In 2023, Ukraine changed the date of Christmas from January 7 to December 25, which is celebrated by the Russian Orthodox Church. There is a date to go. This has been done to stay away from the religious and cultural influence of Russia. “Russian evil will not break Ukraine and will not spoil Christmas,” Zelensky concluded his remarks.
