On the holy festival of Mahashivratri, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma today worshiped Devadhidev Mahadev as per the rituals and performed Jalabhishek at Maa Rajarajeshwari Temple located at the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, he wished for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the people of the state and received blessings from Lord Bholenath.
The Chief Minister worshiped Lord Shiva amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. While performing Jalabhishek with reverence, he prayed for peace, prosperity and development in the state. On this occasion, remembering the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, he said –
“Om Trimbakam Yajamahe, Sugandhi Pushtivardhanam.
Urvarukamiv Bandhanan Mrityormukshiya Mamritat.
Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that the festival of Mahashivratri is a symbol of faith, penance and introspection. Lord Shiva is a symbol of sacrifice, restraint and compassion. He said that worshiping Shiva brings positive energy into life and gives strength to a person to fight difficult situations.
He prayed to Mahadev to bless the life of every citizen of Rajasthan with happiness, prosperity and prosperity. The Chief Minister said that the state is moving on the path of continuous progress and by the grace of God, the resolution of ‘Developed Rajasthan’ will definitely be fulfilled. He also wished that by the grace of Lord Bholenath, an atmosphere of peace and brotherhood should be maintained in the state.
On the occasion of Mahashivratri, there was a religious atmosphere in the Chief Minister’s residence. The temple premises were specially decorated and an atmosphere of reverence and devotion was visible. During the puja, the devotees present also praised Lord Shiva and chanted ‘Om Namah Shivay’.
While wishing the people of the state on Mahashivratri, the Chief Minister said that this festival gives us the message of truth, restraint and service. He urged everyone to promote harmony, unity and positive thinking in the society.
In the end, the Chief Minister again prayed to Lord Shiva and said that his blessings always remain with all of us and Rajasthan establishes new dimensions of progress.
