As part of the special campaign being run against cyber criminals by Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma, prompt and effective action was taken by Pipri Police under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Anil Kumar and under the supervision of Area Officer Pipri Harsh Pandey. The applicant Taj Muhammad, son of Rajje Muhammad, resident of Murdhwa, Renukoot, Police Station Pipri, District Sonbhadra was cheated by an unknown cyber criminal and an amount of Rs 31,000/- was defrauded.

In relation to which a complaint was registered by the applicant at Cyber ​​Crime Police Station-Pipri Sonbhadra. Which was collected by Pipri Police while collecting necessary evidence. An order for the return of the amount was obtained from the court and after correspondence with the concerned bank, the amount of Rs 31,000/- was successfully returned to the original bank account of the applicant. On receiving the amount back, the applicant expressed his gratitude to the entire police team including the Superintendent of Police and praised it.

The team that returned the money mainly included Inspector-in-charge Pranay Prasun Srivastava, Pipri, Sonbhadra, Inspector Harendra Yadav, Police Inspector Dilip Kumar Singh, Lady Constable Archana.
