Party's national spokesperson Pawan Kheda shared the video on X Post and wrote that such insult to the statue of senior party leader late Shri Madhav Rao Scindia by the BJP government cannot be acceptable at all. Responsibility for this mistake should be fixed.

In the viral video of this incident, a noose can be seen tied around the neck of Scindia's statue and removed with the help of a Poklane machine. After which Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had directed to take strict action in this regard. Late Madhavrao Scindia is the father of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Jyotiraditya Scindia left Congress and joined the ruling BJP in March 2020.

In this matter, Anand Prasad, Project Director of NHAI (National Highway Authority of India), Katni, told PTI on phone that, 'We have suspended two employees, team leader Rajesh Kumar Nema and assistant bridge engineer Deepak Soni, with immediate effect. Is. Besides, the construction company's engineers Manoj Verma and Ashish Singh Parihar have also been suspended.

Show cause notices have also been issued to those responsible. On the other hand, regarding action against those responsible, Prasad further said that show cause notices have also been issued to NHAI officials. He said in a statement that Katni Bypass, a part of National Highway 30, is being expanded from two lanes to four lanes.
