Bhopal, September 21 (HS). After confirmation of the use of animal fat in the ghee used to make prasad laddus of the famous Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple (Tirupati Temple) located in Andhra Pradesh, strong reactions are coming from all over the country. Mahant Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham called it a conspiracy against Sanatan. He said that if the claims being made are true, then it is a big crime. He demanded death penalty for the culprits.

Pandit Dheerendra Shastri said on Saturday that this is definitely a well-planned conspiracy against the Sanatanis of India. By doing such acts, full preparations have been made to corrupt the religion of the Sanatanis of India. He said that we would like the government there to make the strictest law and give death sentence to those culprits.

He said that if fat or fish oil has been used in the offerings of God, then there cannot be a bigger misfortune than this in India at present. This should be thoroughly investigated. The government should immediately bring the Hindu temples under the control of the Hindu Board. He said that all the Sanatanis should get all the pilgrimage sites in India thoroughly investigated and everyone should be united and prepared to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.

At the same time, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Maharaj has said that this is the biggest crime and play with the feelings of the devotees. Mixing impure elements in the Prasad of God is a crime against the entire Hindu community. A high-level committee should be formed to investigate this matter and the culprits should be arrested immediately and given strict punishment. He said that the punishment should be such that such a thing does not happen in any other temple in the future. Government interference in the management of all the temples in the country should be completely eliminated, because only people associated with culture can discharge religious and cultural traditions in temples.

He said that the management of temples should be given to religious leaders so that the tradition and culture of temples can be saved. Shankaracharya said that what happened in Tirumala temple is happening in Badrinath and Kedarnath temples. Here too, the government is now starting a direct recruitment process by removing traditional people. In such a situation, playing with religious sentiments will become a common thing because those who work in temples will do so not out of faith but out of job.

On the other hand, state cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said about the adulteration in the prasad of Tirupati Balaji temple that it is unfortunate, if people play with Sanatan Dharma in this way, then it is very sad. Corrupting people’s religion, like when I myself saw this news, I could not eat food, because I have eaten the prasad there many times, I felt that I do not know what I have eaten, there is a feeling of guilt and anger in my mind. Those who have done such a thing, they should be given death penalty.
