One call from Jaishankar and the matter became clear: Iran allowed Indian ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz…

New Delhi, March 12. The ongoing war between Israel, America and Iran has now entered its 13th day. Amidst the worsening global energy crisis due to war, a relief news has emerged for India. Iran has allowed Indian flagged tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. According to sources, this agreement was reached after talks between India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

  • Pushpak and Parimal passed through the Strait of Hormuz

At least two Indian tankers, Pushpak and Parimal, are reported to have passed safely through the strategically important strait, while ships from the US, Europe and Israel are still banned. A Liberian-flagged tanker carrying Saudi Arabian crude, whose captain was an Indian, had also passed through the Strait of Hormuz two days ago and stopped at Mumbai Port. It became the first ship bound for India to pass safely through this waterway. After the attack on Iran by America and Israel, sea traffic here has almost stopped.
