Fierce war begins inside the sea; submarine attack on Iranian ship, one dead, many injured and more than 100 missing

Attack on Iran Ship: A big news has come out amid the current tension in the Middle East. Iranian Navy warship ‘IRIS Dena’ near the southern coast of Sri Lanka But there was an alleged attack by a submarine, due to which the ship sank. According to Reuters report, at least 101 people have gone missing after this attack. Apart from this, 78 people have been injured, out of which the condition of 32 remains critical.

According to the information, it was a Maudge class warship. The ship arrived at the ‘Milan 2026’ held in Visakhapatnam, India. It was returning to Iran after participating in multinational naval exercises. Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath told parliament that an emergency message had been received from the ship in the morning. As soon as this message was received, the Sri Lankan Navy and Air Force immediately swung into action and started their rescue operation.

One person died in hospital

Sri Lankan Navy and Defense Ministry sources were quoted by Reuters on Wednesday as saying that rescue teams have so far rescued 32 people. All of them have been admitted to a hospital in Galle city for treatment. One of the rescued people has died during treatment in the hospital, while the condition of another is still very critical.

There were 180 people on board the ship

Sri Lankan Navy sources said that there were a total of 180 people on board the ship. The rescue operation is still going on and the missing people are being searched. At present, there is no official confirmation as to who is behind this attack. Despite this, this incident is being linked to the ongoing violent conflict between America, Israel and Iran in the Middle East.
