New Delhi:- In the Lok Sabha, 269 votes were cast in favor of accepting the One Nation, One Election Bill, while 198 MPs voted against it. It was recommended to send the bill to JPC. With this, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned till 3 pm.

Shiv Sena (UBT) opposes One Nation, One Election Bill

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anil Desai said, 'I oppose the introduction of this bill. India is a union of states and considering this bill, it will be a direct attack on federalism and it will weaken the authority of the states.
