This post has come at a time when marathon meetings are going on in the Situation Room of the White House regarding the deal with Iran, but no concrete decision has been taken yet as Trump’s final approval is awaited.

During the ongoing security summit in Singapore, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has also adopted a very aggressive stance towards Iran. Hegseth clearly said that if diplomatic talks fail, the US military is fully prepared to attack Iran again.

Amidst this tension, military confrontation has also started at the ground level. The US military has stopped the Gambian-flagged cargo ship ‘Lian Star’ in the Gulf of Oman, which was trying to break the blockade of Iranian ports.
